The Campaign for Fairleigh Dickinson University

Contact us to make a gift to athletics.

Athletics

Athletics are an integral part of the American college experience. For student athletes, inter-collegiate competition provides a unique opportunity to foster teamwork, perseverance and self-discipline - qualities that will serve students well throughout their lives. For the rest of the student body, sporting events build a sense of community and school spirit that invigorates every other area of campus life.

At FDU, the pride comes not only from watching the Devils and the Knights compete but from seeing our athletes exhibit good sportsmanship. The campaign will ensure the continued quality of our athletic programs by enabling us to recruit and retain the kind of coaches who inspire their players to lead.

We’ll also complete a major upgrade of our athletic and recreation facilities to support recruitment of student athletes and ensure that all of our students can achieve optimum physical fitness.

Athletic Facilities

Facilities are a major component to the success of any athletic program.  Proper facilities aid recruiting and further help to ensure program quality for years to come.  They provide Fairleigh Dickinson University Athletics the opportunity to pre-empt the competition and attract the highest caliber student-athlete.

Metropolitan Campus Facilities

The North End Complex is home to the baseball, soccer and tennis programs and abuts the northern boarder of Route 4.  Facility enhancement to this area will further the University’s commitment to campus beautification and provide outdoor facilities that will impact Division I programs and provide a better and more enhanced intramural and general recreation program.

College at Florham Facilities

Keeping true to the Division III philosophy of providing a complete undergraduate experience and providing the maximum amount of participation opportunities, the facilities campaign is focused on impacting the largest number of athletes and providing the highest quality venue in which to complete.  This project includes plans to build a new tennis complex and softball field.
